CHANGING OF THE GUARD!...UH...BASS!
Hey everyone,
We know this may come as a surprise, but David has decided to step away from the band. As someone who has been with us since before day one, his presence and contributions were unique more than words can fully express. While we’re saddened to see him go, we completely respect his decision and sincerely wish him nothing but happiness and success in whatever path lies ahead. He will always be part of this band’s story, and we’re grateful for everything we’ve shared together.
THE MIMIC TRAIN ROLLS ON!
With our return to the stage only weeks away,
we are incredibly grateful to our brother Phil Lenz
of Last Train to OZZ and Steel City Crue
for stepping in on extremely short notice.
Not only is he an amazing bass player,
but he is also a truly genuine human being,
and we’re fortunate to have him in our corner.
Phil will be rockin’ with us on 3/7 at 68's Feed Mill, as well as 3/12 at Jergel's Rhythm Grille when we open for the mighty Firehouse. These are going to be truly memorable nights, and we would love to see you there.
A big shoutout as well to Amity Blossom and the crew of Talking Tuesday with Carrie Campbell, for partnering with us as we begin the search for our next full-time member. We’re grateful to have such an incredible community standing behind us during this next chapter.
If you, or someone you know, thinks you have what it takes to give us the 4 (or 5) string thunder,
send samples to mimicband13@gmail.com
We will begin scheduling auditions mid-March!
Thank you all for the amazing support.
It truly means everything to us.
We’ll see yinz soon.
- Robbie, Bob, Chris, BJ
